Oxygen production uses molecular sieve physical adsorption and desorption technology, that is, the oxygen generator is filled with molecular sieve zeolite, and a nitrogen-oxygen separation coefficient index of the oxygen-producing molecular sieves itself is used to preferentially and quickly adsorb nitrogen in the air during pressurization, while the remaining nitrogen is not available. The absorbed oxygen is collected and purified into high-purity oxygen. Generally, medium and large medical molecular sieve oxygen generators are industrial oxygen generators, and the oxygen flow is 1-20L. Usually, our sodium type oxygen molecular sieves are used, and recommend model is JXOIM-13XHP-501 1.6-2.5mm; Also you can use our lithium molecular sieve, the model is JXOIM-LIX 502 1.3-1.7mm, the oxygen concentration is more than 95%. Under popularization, the flow rate of oxygen generators is generally 1-5L in ordinary wards, up to 20L in emergency room wards, and up to 60L in high-flow oxygen generators. The oxygen for critically ill children + high-flow machine needs to be 10-15L, and the oxygen for critically ill adults is 10-15L. + High flow oxygen concentrators require 35L-40L.

* If the small medical molecular sieve oxygen generator has a flow rate of 3-10L, it is generally suitable for private application scenarios such as homes and hotels. Do not choose 1-2L oxygen generators, because their power is low, and after working for half a year to 1 year, the flow rate is only 0.5-0.8L. Usually imported molecular sieves are mainly Arkema lithium molecular sieves in French and UOP sodium molecular sieves in American, while our domestic molecular sieves generally use lithium molecular sieves.

The efficiency of American sodium molecular sieve is not as good as that of lithium molecular sieve, but it has high moisture resistance and is more stable. Arkema lithium molecular sieves produce oxygen quickly and have high adsorption efficiency, but are prone to moisture. Therefore, in order to maintain the service life and efficiency of the molecular sieve, the molecular sieve oxygen generator should be kept ventilated and dry and run on a regular basis to avoid the oxygen concentration of the lithium molecular sieve not reaching the medical standard due to moisture.

Let’s take a 3L oxygen generator as an example, (see below image). When you adjust the flow to 0.5-3L, the oxygen concentration is 93%, is a normal value. When the flow rate is adjusted to 4L~5L, the oxygen concentration rapidly decreases to 82-78%, which is a false flow rate.
