One of our regular customer recommend his friend’s company to buy some adsorbents in their air compressor dryer. After compared the water adsorption and some other index, finally customer choose molecular sieve 4A 3.0-5.0mm for their air dryers.

Usually in air dryers, we will talk about activated alumina. But why this company choose molecular sieve 4A? Actually it mainly depend on the final application conditions.

Activated alumina: We knew that it is high crush strength adsorbent, and is often used in heatless air dryers. Because its high crush strength can bear the compressed air stamping without being crushed, and its water adsorption can reach over 18.5%. But its disadvantage is that hard to deep drying. If need dew point -40~-70 degree, just use activated alumina ball can not reach.

Molecular sieve 4A: This is also often used adsorbents, its adsorption alibity is almost 2~3 times than activated alumina. For deep dryer, the dew point need over -70 degree, so molecular sieve 4A can achieve. But the crush strength is lower to crushed, we will recommend customer to take some bags of activated alumina in the bottom of tower, to protect the molecular sieve. Thus can extend the lifetime of adsorbents, but also guarantee its adsorption ability.

So for our customers, they accept our recommendation. We believe that he will satisfy with our adsorbents quality. Below share some photos of our molecular sieve 4A. We pack with galvanized drum to ensure that the packaging is intact during long transportation. Also when reach warehouse, as long as it’s not opened and stored in a ventilated place, our adsorbents have lifetime 3~5 years.
